Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit card payments
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restock merchandise, and assist with inventory counts
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Operate price scanners and ensure all promotions are applied correctly
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail with cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
