Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Balance cash registers and reconcile daily transactions
- Assist with stocking shelves, pricing merchandise, and maintaining store appearance
- Handle returns/exchanges according to company policies
- Operate scanning equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Participate in inventory counts and loss prevention measures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cashier or customer service experience
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- POS system experience preferred (training provided)
