Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages using precise techniques including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized beverage recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of all coffee equipment, service areas, and customer spaces
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and uphold quality control standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours
- Participate in daily training sessions to master new brewing methods and menu items
- Contribute to a positive team environment through open communication and mutual support
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience or equivalent coffee training
- Expert knowledge of specialty coffee preparation and equipment
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and passion for customer engagement
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
