Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using advanced espresso techniques
- Deliver personalized customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling
- Uphold strict sanitation standards for equipment, workspace, and service areas
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Contribute to inventory management and quality control of coffee products
- Participate in ongoing training for new brewing methods and seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure settings
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety certification preferred (ServSafe)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
