Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and efficient checkout
- Operate scanners, scales, and other retail equipment with precision
- Assist with inventory management and price verification
- Uphold store cleanliness standards and organize checkout areas
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Support store opening/closing procedures as scheduled
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical accuracy and basic computer literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
