Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs efficiently and professionally.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with precision.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in strict accordance with company policies.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with bagging purchases and loading customer vehicles when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management to stock shortages or damaged goods.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, friendly attitude.
