Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and artisanal methods
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient operations during peak hours
- Manage inventory, including restocking ingredients and maintaining equipment
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in all food handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
- Assist with developing seasonal menu items and promotional campaigns
- Train new staff on beverage preparation and customer service protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience or equivalent customer service role
- Proficiency in espresso machines, pour-over techniques, and milk steaming
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Must be 18+ and able to stand for extended periods
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience preferred
