Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and teardown of event venues, including arranging tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment.
- Greet guests and attendees warmly, providing directions and general information to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor crowd flow and manage entry/exit points to ensure safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed.
- Collaborate closely with event coordinators and vendors to execute events smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing attendee inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, appearance, and conduct throughout the event duration.
- Handle cash handling or ticket scanning duties as required by specific event types.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods (typically 4-8 hours) without significant fatigue.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from various event locations across the Bay Area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols is a plus.
- No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
