Responsibilities
- Setup & Breakdown: Assist in setting up event furniture, signage, and equipment before the event and tearing down efficiently afterward.
- Guest Services: Greet attendees, answer questions, and provide directions with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Crowd Management: Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe, organized environment for all guests.
- Equipment Handling: Properly handle and operate provided event equipment (tents, sound, POS systems) as directed.
- Sales Support: Assist with ticket sales, raffles, or merchandise as required by the event scope.
- General Assistance: Perform light physical tasks, including lifting boxes or carrying supplies, to ensure venue readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in event staffing, hospitality, or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a valid ID and be reliable with attendance.
- Professionalism: A neat appearance and professional attitude are required.
