Responsibilities
- Assist in the professional setup and teardown of event stages, furniture, and audio-visual equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools (provided by company) to transport and position equipment safely.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure all logistical requirements are met on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is stored securely after events.
- Interact professionally with clients and guests to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during setup and takedown.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid ID.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (outdoor events).
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Oakland event venues.
