Responsibilities
- Set up, manage, and break down event equipment (tables, decor, AV gear) provided by our company
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through professional service and event execution
- Enforce venue safety protocols and manage crowd control during high-traffic events
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure seamless event operations and brand standards
- Assist with registration, guest management, and VIP hospitality services
- Report maintenance issues with provided equipment to logistics team
- Represent client brands with polished appearance and positive demeanor
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with reliable transportation to Oakland event venues
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours) and lift 25+ lbs
- Strong communication skills and ability to de-escalate situations professionally
- Punctuality and reliability with flexible availability (weekends/evenings required)
- Previous event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Valid photo ID and ability to pass background screening
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of event setup best practices (training provided)
