Responsibilities
- Setup, manage, and break down event equipment including signage, AV systems, and branded displays
- Execute guest registration and credentialing using provided digital tablets and scanners
- Manage crowd flow and venue navigation using directional signage and communication devices
- Operate event-specific tools like VIP wristbands, credential scanners, and inventory systems
- Provide exceptional guest service using branded communication tools and event guides
- Monitor equipment inventory and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with team leads using provided two-way radios and digital platforms
Qualifications
- Previous event or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to Chicago event venues
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic knowledge of event equipment setup and operation
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with provided tools
