Responsibilities
- Assist with venue setup and breakdown, ensuring all staging, furniture, and audio-visual equipment are arranged correctly.
- Greet and welcome attendees with warmth and professionalism, directing them to appropriate areas.
- Maintain crowd control and manage attendee flow during high-traffic periods to ensure safety.
- Collaborate closely with event coordinators to execute logistical plans and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing attendee needs promptly.
- Ensure the event space remains clean, organized, and hazard-free throughout the duration of the shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in event staffing, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to various event locations within the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
