Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Store Operations: Maintain the visual appeal of the store by ensuring merchandise is organized, clean, and displayed according to company standards.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash, credit, and gift card payments, and manage returns/exchanges.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing regular inventory counts during off-peak hours.
- Store Security: Monitor the store environment to ensure safety and security protocols are followed throughout the evening shift.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; a strong passion for customer service is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately, such as stocking and cash handling.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is a must.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and maneuver around the sales floor.
