Responsibilities
- Execute the efficient loading, unloading, and sorting of incoming and outgoing freight using powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts and organizing stock in designated zones.
- Perform quality assurance checks on merchandise to ensure it meets company standards before processing.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline shipping and receiving processes during peak evening hours.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and workplace regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of customer orders with a focus on speed and precision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written instructions.
