Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor throughout the shift.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Assist in opening or closing procedures as required by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, specifically between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
