Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and returns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Stock shelves and maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the store is organized and appealing.
- Handle customer complaints or issues escalated by the team lead with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Operate store equipment, including registers, scanners, and safety systems, following all operational protocols.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash balancing and security checks.
- Clean and organize the sales floor to provide a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with POS systems.
