Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle returns efficiently.
- Stock merchandise, organize shelves, and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, alarm checks, and security protocols.
- Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and identifying merchandise needs.
- Collaborate with the evening team to ensure seamless store operations and high service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
