Responsibilities
- Deliver polished table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously during peak evening hours (5 PM - 11 PM)
- Expertly navigate POS system while processing payments, splitting checks, and applying promotions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely order execution
- Maintain pristine station setup, glassware, and table presentation standards
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with solution-oriented approach
- Execute opening/closing side duties including restocking and sanitation protocols
- Participate in weekly pre-shift tastings to build menu expertise
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year high-volume restaurant service experience
- California Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain within 72 hours)
- Availability for 3-5 evening shifts weekly including weekends
- Exceptional multitasking ability under pressure
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail service
- Proficient with Aloha, Toast, or comparable POS systems
- Impeccable professional appearance and communication skills
- Valid California Driver's License for catering support (preferred)
