Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash and card payments with precision.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and maintain a clean, organized store environment throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged goods to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to execute promotional events and ensure store goals are met.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including security checks and cash balancing.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required by the business schedule.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
