Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service during evening shifts (4 PM - 10 PM)
- Operate POS systems, process payments, and manage cash transactions
- Stock shelves, arrange displays, and maintain organized merchandise sections
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation procedures
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards throughout shift
- Collaborate with team members for efficient operations during busy evening hours
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and product knowledge
Qualifications
- Available to work flexible evening shifts (minimum 20 hours/week)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Reliable transportation to Oakland City Market location
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous retail experience a plus but not required
