As our evening receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients arriving after standard business hours. Responsibilities
- Greets patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Answers and routes incoming phone calls efficiently while managing the switchboard.
- Schedules appointments and manages patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Manages incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area.
- Assists medical staff with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensures patient confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and medical scheduling software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening hours.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to work evenings, including weekends, as required.
