Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake and registration during evening hours with exceptional accuracy
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and verify insurance coverage efficiently
- Handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless evening patient flow
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years in customer service or healthcare administration
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced evening environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings (3 PM - 11 PM) weekends as needed
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
