Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Organize and merchandise displays to maintain a clean, inviting, and visually appealing store environment.
- Handle cash transactions and balance the register at the end of each shift with precision.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to medium objects.
- Reliable transportation is required.
