Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing a positive and professional first impression.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing detailed product information, and making recommendations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Stock shelves and display areas to ensure products are organized, clean, and easily accessible.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damages to the management team promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment in accordance with company health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and weekend availability is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and pricing.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
