Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, printer, and operating system problems for internal staff.
- Maintain accurate records of all help desk tickets and system updates in the Service Management portal.
- Assist in the evening rollout of new software patches and security updates.
- Perform basic hardware inventory management and asset tagging.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in IT Help Desk or Technical Support (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
