Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs during evening and weekend hours.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Handle cash and card payments, ensuring all balances are reconciled at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure store targets are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings (typically 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and POS systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
