Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge, recommendations, and efficient checkout processes
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Merchandise and maintain store displays to reflect current promotions and seasonal themes
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock and conducting cycle counts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store cleanliness and safety standards
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to store management
- Participate in evening/weekend team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (students encouraged to apply)
- Availability for evening shifts (3 PM - 11 PM) and weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
- Previous retail/customer service experience a plus but not required
