Responsibilities
- Merchandising: Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new merchandise according to company planograms.
- Inventory Control: Receive and unpack deliveries, checking for damaged goods and ensuring accuracy.
- Organization: Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first (FIFO) and maintain organized backroom storage.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and safe for customers; sweep and organize aisles regularly.
- Customer Support: Assist customers with finding products and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.
- Logistics: Help unload trucks and transport heavy boxes to designated storage areas.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous roles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail stocking or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
