Responsibilities
- Stocking & Organization: Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise to ensure shelves are fully stocked and displays are appealing.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, rotate stock using FIFO methods, and alert supervisors to low-stock items.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe by sweeping, dusting, and removing debris regularly.
- Product Integrity: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly, helpful service to customers by locating products and answering basic inquiries.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the morning crew to meet daily stocking targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Proven history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure products are organized correctly and pricing is accurate.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous experience in stocking, warehousing, or retail is preferred but not required.
