Responsibilities
- Stock Shelves & Displays: Efficiently stock incoming merchandise onto shelves, ensuring products are facing forward and organized by size and category.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damages promptly to management.
- Unload Deliveries: Safely unload trucks and transport goods from the receiving area to the sales floor using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Price Checks: Verify pricing accuracy and apply price stickers as necessary to maintain inventory integrity.
- Customer Assistance: Occasionally assist customers with locating items and answering general questions about product availability.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be punctual and consistently show up for early morning shifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and neatness.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous stocking, warehouse, or retail experience is preferred but not required.
