Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Receive, unload, and unpack deliveries, ensuring all items are inspected for quality and damaged goods are removed.
- Stocking & Organization: Restock shelves and display areas according to company visual merchandising standards and safety guidelines.
- FIFO Management: Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) protocols to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
- Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock levels in the backroom.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and safe for both customers and team members.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the sales team and management to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on various floor surfaces.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Experience: Previous retail or warehouse stocking experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Tools: Basic math skills for price checks and inventory management.
