Responsibilities
- Receive and Process Stock: Unload delivery trucks and carefully inspect incoming merchandise for quality and accuracy.
- Organize Sales Floor: Efficiently stock shelves, rotate inventory to ensure freshness, and maintain a visually appealing display.
- Ensure Availability: Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to management to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and correctly use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Adhere to Schedules: reliably work assigned early morning shifts to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and walk quickly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to being present for scheduled shifts.
- Basic Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, warehousing, or stocking is a plus but not mandatory.
