About the Position
The Early Morning Stocker is responsible for the precise handling of incoming inventory. You will ensure that our shelves are fully stocked, organized, and ready for the day's customers, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and safety.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming merchandise shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Restock shelves and display areas according to established layout plans.
- Rotate stock to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management.
- Keep the backroom and sales floor organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stocktakes as required.
- Label and price new stock according to company pricing guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
