Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate curricula aligned with developmental milestones
- Create safe, engaging learning environments that foster curiosity and creativity
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and parent conferences
- Document children's progress using digital portfolios and developmental assessments
- Collaborate with teaching teams to maintain high-quality care standards
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to complete upon hire)
- Passionate about child development and creating inclusive learning spaces
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including occasional weekends
- Clear background check and TB test clearance
