Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all dogs are secure on leashes and under control during outings.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or distress and report immediately to the owner.
- Clean up waste and maintain cleanliness of public walking areas.
- Provide basic training and behavioral reinforcement (e.g., sit, stay, recall) during walks.
- Deliver top-tier customer service and communicate effectively with pet owners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dog walking or pet care is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina, agility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
- Must have a smartphone with internet access for route tracking.
