Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds on scheduled routes throughout Santa Ana.
- Ensure all dogs are safely leashed and under control during walks.
- Pick up and dispose of waste immediately to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or distress during the walk.
- Provide fresh water and treats as needed while maintaining a safe pace.
- Report any behavioral issues or safety concerns to the pet owner promptly.
- Securely transport dogs to and from their homes in a safe manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience with dog walking or pet care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle energetic or larger dogs.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Passion for animals and a genuine love for walking outdoors.
- Ability to pass a background check.
