Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments on a scheduled daily basis.
- Ensure dogs are safe, secure, and happy during all walks and outdoor activities.
- Clean up waste immediately to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report immediately to the owner.
- Provide basic care instructions and updates to pet owners after each walk.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, feeding, and medication administration.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and traffic laws while walking.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dogs is a plus but not strictly required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., leashes, bags, equipment).
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Certification in pet first aid is highly desirable.
- Must pass a background check and reference verification.
