Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and energy levels safely through residential neighborhoods.
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, noting any changes or concerns.
- Administer medication or special dietary instructions as directed by pet owners.
- Practice and enforce basic obedience commands to ensure safe interactions with other dogs.
- Maintain a clean and organized equipment bag, including waste bags and water bowls.
- Provide daily updates and photos to pet owners via our app or text.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols regarding pet care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or veterinary assistance is highly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs weighing up to 80 pounds comfortably.
- Strong knowledge of canine behavior, body language, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screening.
