We are seeking dedicated and energetic Dog Walkers to join Reno Pawsome Walks. If you are an animal lover looking for a rewarding part-time job with flexible hours, we want to meet you!
Unlike many other positions, we provide all necessary equipment—leashes, waste bags, and uniforms—so you can focus on what you do best: keeping the pups happy and healthy.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, supervised walking and exercise for dogs of various breeds and temperaments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the well-being of every pet in your care.
- Pick up and dispose of waste promptly and professionally.
- Monitor dog behavior and report any health issues or behavioral changes to the owner.
- Follow the client’s specific instructions regarding feeding, treats, and walking routes.
- Keep accurate records of daily walks and pet activities.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and reference verification.
- Previous dog walking or pet sitting experience is a plus but not required.
