Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs of various breeds and sizes in designated areas
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, fresh water, medication if certified)
- Maintain accurate walk logs and incident reports
- Practice leash handling and behavior management techniques
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments as needed
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (if transporting pets)
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to walk dogs in varied weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
- Background check clearance required
