Responsibilities
- Provide Daily Exercise: Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate physical activity and mental stimulation.
- Pet Supervision: Monitor pets closely during walks and in-home visits to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Client Communication: Provide daily updates via text or app, including photos of the pets and notes on their behavior.
- Household Care: Perform basic duties such as feeding, fresh water, and light tidying up of pet areas.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications to pets according to detailed instructions.
- Behavior Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the pet's health or behavior to the owners immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience.
- Reliability: Must have a proven track record of punctuality and consistency in scheduling.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk up to 2-3 miles per day and handle dogs of various sizes.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Love for Animals: A genuine passion for dogs and a patient, gentle demeanor.
