Responsibilities
- Provide daily, scheduled walks for dogs, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during walks to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Administer medication or special care instructions as provided by pet owners.
- Clean up waste immediately and maintain a high standard of hygiene in all pet areas.
- Report any concerns regarding pet behavior or health to the management team promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and punctual arrival at all scheduled appointments.
- Transport dogs safely to and from their homes using company-issued vehicles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in dog walking or pet sitting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Current certification in Pet First Aid/CPR is a plus.
