Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet every customer warmly and assist them with any inquiries regarding products or services.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining strict accuracy in the cash drawer.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Bag groceries and prepare orders for pickup/delivery accurately.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Assist with inventory stocking and price changes as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money with 100% accuracy.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with retail POS systems is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
