Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service during checkout and product inquiries
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services for elderly or disabled customers
- Scan, price, and stock merchandise while maintaining organized displays
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when needed
- Operate self-checkout stations and assist customers with mobile payment options
- Participate in daily store cleanliness and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
