Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments and maintain balanced cash drawers
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services
- Scan merchandise and verify pricing
- Maintain clean checkout areas and store organization
- Participate in inventory management and stock replenishment
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong math skills and cash handling abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency with POS systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Must be 18+ years of age
