Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using company-provided POS systems and scanners
- Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and inventory management tools provided by employer
- Assist customers with product inquiries while maintaining a clean, organized checkout station
- Handle cash, coupons, and returns using standardized company equipment and protocols
- Monitor and maintain assigned equipment functionality, reporting issues promptly
- Support inventory processes using provided handheld scanners and counting tools
- Uphold company safety standards while operating all provided retail equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier experience preferred
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific equipment and POS systems
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy in transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience
- Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne, IN location
