Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide product information as needed.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict attention to detail.
- Bag merchandise and organize the checkout area to ensure a clean appearance.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking shelves when not at the register.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for handling money and change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
