Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit/debit card payments with 100% accuracy.
- Responsible for bagging items and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment when needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, cashier, or customer service preferred.
- Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
