Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them in finding products or answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict adherence to company security protocols.
- Scan, bag, and organize merchandise while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Stock shelves and organize displays during downtime to maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in inventory management and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
